Springdales has been “second home” to thousands of you, my dear students, where you found your roots, and under your mentors and guides, learnt your first lessons of life. Then spreading your wings, you soared away into the unknown to discover yourself and the world around you. Come December and your old school, your teachers and school mates will be welcoming you back under the OSA banner at this great reunion of the Springdalian family “Homeward Bound”.
Fly home to the nest ! Rediscover your roots, relive those old school days, singing the Springdalian songs, re-visiting the Chattarpur Farm, catching up with your school mates and introducing your families.
It’s going to be “a never before” experience of togetherness, of fun and laughter, and Springdalian spirit, and you have to be there. The thought of meeting you, my old pupils, from those early years of the fifties onwards through five decades, is tremendously exciting for me in the autumn of my life as I hope it will be for you. I can’t wait for it to happen !

REUNIONS carry with them the nostalgia of those wonderful days at school – the fun activities , excursions , the excitement before the Sports days & the Annual days, sharing of food , borrowing notes , naughty pranks , calling each other nicknames, tensions before the exams , the general bonhomie - and an opportunity to connect with ‘long lost class mates and teachers “.
OSA has always endeavoured to organize meaningful programmes & activities to provide memorable experience to the participating alumni . That primarily is the reason that it stands out as one of the most vibrant old students associations.
The ambitious programme HOMEWARD BOUND scheduled for December 2009 would indeed be once in a lifetime opportunity to meet your old friends , teachers and experience for yourself the phenomenal journey of Springdales over the past five decades

Homeward bound in itself is a subject of high emotion, the occasion is a wonderful opportunity for each one of us to come together and re-live the memorable years gone by. Fond memories of our lives in school together will surely come alive and we SPRINGDALIANS sincerely need to take it upon ourselves to make it the most memorable occasion of our lives. The onus of it all happening lies on us. Let us not let ourselves down.
I do sincerely hope and wish for all of us to take it upon ourselves and join hands to make “HOMEWARD BOUND” the best that SPRINGDALES has ever witnessed.
